He is survived by: his children, Orbin Phillips of South Amherst and Arlena Phillips of South Amherst; and his brothers, Clabern Phillips of South Amherst and Mathew Phillips (Brenda) of Rocky Top, Tennessee.. He is also survived by six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren.
