It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thelma Jean Allsop of South Amherst, Ohio, born in Amherst, Ohio, who passed away on July 26, 2022, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Harold Allsop, Jr.; her great grandchild Satira King; her sister Frances Phillips; and her parents, Harmon Mathes and Vivian Mathes.
She is survived by: her children, Richard "Dick" Allsop (Janet) of Amherst, William "Bill" Allsop (Beverly) of Vermilion and Joanne Allsop of Columbus; her grandchildren, Cortney Bennett (Jay), Tyler Allsop (Holly), Becky Remner (Justin) and Ryan Allsop (Meghan); her great grandchildren, Sam, Kenzie, Ashton, Reese, Garrett, Owen, Max and Austin; and her great great grandchild Lillian "Lily".
