It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Abbott Jr. of South Amherst, Ohio, born in Lorain, Ohio, who passed away on September 5, 2020, at the age of 51, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his son James Allen Abbott; and his father James Willis Abbott, Sr.. He is survived by: his children, Monica Patterson of Wellington, Meghan Carlisle (Tyler) of Virginia, Merissa Abbott of Wakman and Ryan Sterna of Amherst; his mother Donna J. Abbott of South Amherst; his grandchildren, Kade Wilson and Bailee Nissen; and his sisters, Lisa Nehls of Lorain and Teresa Terry of Lorain. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made directly to the family to defer burial expenses.
