Velma Marler Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Velma Marler of Somerville, Ohio, born in Mount Vernon, Kentucky, who passed away on May 9, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ott Kirby and Katie Renner Kirby; her siblings, Hazel, Alma, Marie, Joyce, Sherman and Tom; and her son Billy Darrell.
She is survived by: her children, Norma Kinkaid (Lynn), Larry Marler (Harriet), Linda Marler, Janice Brown (Jeff) and Barb Laird (Tim); her sister Janice Lovell; and her grandchildren, John, Susan, Lance, Elizabeth, Katie, Dustin, Lindsey and Michael. She is also survived by her 11 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
Due to the current Covid-19 restrictions, face masks are required, social distancing is encouraged, and funeral home capacity will be limited to 60%.
