She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Melvin and Elfreda Melvin (Cope); and her husband Louis E. Steward. She is survived by: her children, Dale Steward (Becky), Anita Lakes (Steve), Darrell Steward (Cynthia) and Daniel Steward; her grandchildren, Ian Steward, Caitlin Pfaff, Valerie Lakes, Lydia Lakes, Declan Steward, Cameron Steward, Danielle Steward and Harley Steward; her great grandchildren, Astrid, Henry and Neil; and her stepgrandchildren, Terry, Colby and Candi Coleman. She is also survived by relatives and friends.
