He was predeceased by: his parents, William Emerick and Arlena Emerick (Senff); his daughter Teresa K. Bishop (Emerick); and his sisters, Marilyn Smith (Emerick) and Jean Epperson (Emerick).
He is survived by: his wife Karen Emerick (Keesling); his children, Daniel Lee Emerick, Cynthia Lynn Emerick and Scott James Emerick (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Nathan Emerick (Savannah), Tyler Whitson, Valerie Whitson, Lily Emerick, Kate Emerick and Nick Emerick; his great grandchild Palmer James Emerick; and his siblings, Janice Goble, Carl Emerick and William Emerick. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Gard Funeral Home - Gratis (113 S Ada Doty St, Gratis, OH 45330). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Gard Funeral Home and Cremation Services (113 S Ada Doty St, Gratis, OH 45330). A burial was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 12:45 PM at the Fairmound Cemetery (11658 OH-503, West Elkton, OH 45070).
