He was predeceased by: his parents, David Branson and Mary Carroll (Gipson); and his son Cree Carroll. He is survived by: his daughter Brandy Carroll; and his siblings, Edward Carroll (Denise) and Rebecca Carroll. He is also survived by five grandchildren; three great grandchildren.
