He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur A. Murphy and Maude V. Murphy (Martin); his wife Judith B. Murphy; and his grandsons, Timmy and Jeremy.
He is survived by: his children, Robin Gross (Kelly), Judy Hamilton (Kim), Julie Thompson (James), Robert Steven Murphy and Patrick Arthur Murphy; and his sisters, Mattie Sheline (Pat) and Mary Mannering (Dave). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.
