He was predeceased by: his mother Norma Newton. He is survived by: his wife Nina Laxton; his children, Heather Marie Lawson (Joshua) and Michael Laxton Jr. (Danielle); his grandson Wyatt M. Laxton; and his pets, Bosco, Duke and Chester.
