He was predeceased by: his father Hezekiah Mattingly; and his siblings, Roger Dale Chesser and Elisa Mae Combs. He is survived by: his daughters, Elizabeth Lehman and Faith Blackerby; his mother Ruby Mattingly; and his siblings, Elizabeth Ann Needy, Etalka Mattingly, Mary Rose Cummins, Hilda Mattingly, James Earl and John Edmond Combs.
