She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred G. Trent and Lois A. Trent (Lockhart); her son Shane Keith Hillis; her sister Peggy Gilmore; and her niece Carla.

She is survived by: her husband Roger E. Hillis of Somerset; her daughter Terra McCann of Canal Winchester; and her grandchildren, Sophie Hillis, Kyelin McCann and Drew McCann.

Memorial contributions may be made to Holy Trinity Catholic School.
