He was predeceased by: his parents, Kelly Y. Paynter and Betty Paynter (Kilgore); his son Charles Kelly Paynter of Virginia; and his siblings, Tommy, Timmy, Donald and Tammy.
He is survived by: his pets, Sherlock, Jazper, Scar and Sylvester; his wife Debbie Paynter; his children, Stephanie Waite of Somerset, Jeremie Tinto (Jennifer) of Thornville and Bethaney White (Nate) of Omaha; his siblings, Teddy Paynter of Kentucky, Debra Bailey of West Virginia and Donna Paynter of West Virginia; his parents-in-law, Melvin and Donna Peters; and his sister-in-law Leitha Paynter. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Somerset Small Town Christmas or to the Humane Society.
