He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Ferne; his children, Karen, Steven (Susan), Robert (Morgan) and Brian (Lauren); his grandchildren, Jennifer (Kyle), Kevin, Jori, Emerson, Avery and Braden; and his great grandchild Lainey.

A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Berkowitz-Kumin-Bookatz Memorial Chapel (1985 S Taylor Rd, Cleveland Heights, OH 44118). A reception was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Residence of Steven and Susan Greene (34780 Lakeview Dr, Solon, OH 44139).
