With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Willard C. Spencer (Smithville, Ohio), born in Broad Top, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 23, 2019 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Hobert and Edna Spencer (O'Neil); his wife Phyllis; his children, Gary Spencer (Kathy) of Wooster, Patti Schattschneider (Ed) of Smithville, Tom Spencer (Bonnie) of Sterling and Peggy Carr (Tim) of North Lawrence; his daughter-in-law Mandy Spencer of Smithville; his sister Viola R. Pendlebury of Smithville; his close friend Kenny McCune; his son Rocky Spencer; his granddaughters, Stacy Spencer and Emily Laird (Spencer); and his siblings, William, Robert, Wilbert "Sonny" Spencer, Ronald Crooks, Mildred Stevenson, Peggy Johnson and Jessifay Spencer.
