Raymond Hubbard Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Raymond Hubbard of Smithfield, Ohio, who passed away on January 5, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Raymond may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Raymond touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Wylie Hubbard and Sarah Hubbard (Rigby); his children, Carol Ann Burns and Raymond Hubbard; and his stepson Donald Butler.

He is survived by: his wife Susan K. Butler Hubbard (Lescalet); his children, Deborah Jean Wiley (Randy) of Toronto, OH, Wylie Michael Hubbard of Everett, WA, Sarah Lee Willis of Columbus, OH and William C. Hubbard (Jamie) of Wintersville, OH; his stepchildren, Lisa Brashear of Rayland, OH and Leigh Ann Little (David) of Wellsville, OH; and his sister Shirley Lanaghan of Steubenville. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
