It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth Maxwell (Smithfield, Ohio), born in Ottawa, Ohio, who passed away on February 26, 2020, at the age of 103, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alexander Macdonald and Christina Macdonald (Black); her husband James Maxwell; and her siblings, William, Mary, Marjorie and Margaret.
She is survived by: her daughters, Christina Wallace of Toronto and Margaret 'Peggy' (Douglas Richey) of Pepper Pike.
Friends who wish may make memorial contributions to Hospice of the Western Reserve (Northeast Ohio) or Hounds Haven (Dillonvale, OH), an animal rescue where she had found her sweet kitty, Whiskers.
