He was predeceased by: his parents, David Murphy Sr. and Nancy Murphy (Petty). He is survived by: his close friend Jennifer Borman; his children, Ashley Landry of Massachusetts and Billy Hall of Florida; his stepchildren, Graven Harley Borman of Sidney and Landon Grissett of Sidney; his grandsons, Graven, Nathanial, Billy and Blair Hall; and his siblings, David Murphy Jr. (Tracy), Tom Murphy of Massachussetts, Christopher Murphy of Georgia, James Murphy of North Carolina and Angel Barhorst of Piqua. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
