He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Day and Bessie Day (King); his former wife Eddine Lois Day (O'Conner); his daughter Angel Gelene Day; and his siblings, Faye Davis, Arthur Day, Jr., Milford Day and Odis Day.
He is survived by: his wife Mary M. Day (Morgan) of Sidney; his children, Michael Davis of Sidney, Rita F. Day of Carrolton, Hurstle W. Davis (Brenda) of Sidney, Teresa A. Day Hecht of Sidney, Dugan Day of Maplewood and Rose L. Lamar (Dennis) of Sidney; his siblings, Anna Gibson of Corbin, KY, Bobbie Adkins of Troy, Raymond Day of Oswego, TN, Donnie Day (Diane) of Sidney and Linda Day Bowlin of Jellico, TN.; and his sister-in-law Irene Day of Livingston, KY.. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 38 great grandchildren; 10 great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Adams Funeral Home (1401 Fair Rd, Sidney, OH 45365). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
