He was predeceased by: his father Richard Carey; and his niece Stacey Ritter. He is survived by: his wife Lisa Carey (Johnson); his children, Angela Mayse (Daniel) of Sidney, Todd Carey of Simpsonville, S. C., Ryan Carey (Natalie) of Piqua, Shelby Carey (Stuart) of Cincinnati, Haley White (Frank) of Anna and Lucas Carey of Sidney; his sister Linda Ritter (Tony) of Sidney; and his nephew Wes Ritter. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, three great grandchildren.
