William Henry Deam Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 9, 2022, at the age of 99, William Henry Deam (Sidney, Ohio) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Emerson Deam and Helen Deam (Edwards); his former wife Mary Deam (Brockman) of Anna; his son Tommy; and his siblings, Jim and Jane Billing (Don).
He is survived by: his wife Doris Coil Poppe; his children, Mark Deam (Joyce), Marcia Shaffer (Dan) and John Deam of Sidney; his stepchildren, Dick Poppe of New Bremen, OH and Cheryl Christman (Chuck) of Lebanon, TN.; his grandchildren, Tom Shaffer of Dublin, OH, Chuck Shaffer of Dupont, IN, David Deam (Katie) of Sidney and Laurie Deam Snyder (Joshua) of Dublin, OH; and his stepgrandchildren, Ryan Christman (Christin) of Lebanon, TN and Angie Christman Funderburk (Josh) of Johns Creek, GA. He is also survived by thirteen great grandchildren, five great-great grandchildren, and six step great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Miami County or Sidney First United Methodist Church in Bill's memory.
