He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Koogler and Naomi Koogler (Henrich); his brother Andrew Koogler; his parents-in-law, John and Dorothy Ring; and his siblings-in-law, George Graef and Sue Henry.
He is survived by: his significant other Lois J. Ring; his daughters, Lucinda "Cindy" Zimmerman (Keith) of Piqua, Belinda "Bea" Reid (Doug) of Sidney, Angela "Angie" Yount (Steve) of Troy, Dorothy "Dodie" Martin (Bernie) of Sidney and Mary Azbill (Tim) of Kettering; his grandchildren, Alex Zimmerman (Lucy), Ben Zimmerman (Julia), Kimberly Dembski, Melissa Hill (Josh), Andrew Higgins (Ashley), Travis Higgins (Shelby), Michele Josefovsky (Jeremy), Jerry Grise (Lottie), Brianne Grise (Sarah Rose), Macey Grise (Matt Everett), Millicent Azbill and Gwendolyn Azbill; his sister Ruth Graef of Xenia; and his brother-in-law Gary Henry of Oakwood.
