He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Fleckenstein and Ethel Fleckenstein (Miller); and his grandson Caleb Long. He is survived by: his wife Diane Fleckenstein (Haddix); his daughters, Debonair Sherman (Forrest) of Sidney and Brandi Fleckenstein (Jason Long) of Sidney; his sister Barbara Staley (Charles) of Sidney; his grandchildren, Chrysler Sherman, Jay Sherman, Ciera Long and Carson Long; and his great grandchild Paxton VanFossen.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Multiple Sclerosis Association, 375 Kings Highway North, Cherry Hill, New Jersey 08034.
