He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Bogart and Irma Bogart; and his wife Virginia Alice Houser. He is survived by: his sister Suzy (Lucas); his niece Melissa (Lucas); his sisters-in-law, Susan Alexander (Houser) and Sylvia Carey (Houser); his nieces and nephews, Stephanie Garber (Perrine), Beth Jo Ann Perrine, Amy Williams (Alexander), Vince Perrine and Michael Alexander; and also Shiloh. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Upon admission he also tested positive for Covid 19.
