He was predeceased by: his father Cecil L. Cox. He is survived by: his mother Flonnie Cox (Lay) of Sidney, OH; his brother Cecil H. Cox of Columbus, OH; his sons, Matthew S. Cox of Concord, NC, Joshua Cox (Krystal) of Sidney, OH and Daniel Cox (Brooke) of Kannapolis, NC; and his grandchildren, Blake, Gayle, Lynn, Andrew, Jordan, Avelee and Mack Cox.
