He was predeceased by: his parents, Rufus and Ruby Sims Sr. (Steward); and his sister Marie Johnson (Sims). He is survived by: his children, Bradley Sims (Chasity) of Bellefontaine, Rick A. Sims of Sidney, Brandi Franklin (Michael) of Sidney, Tiffany Gibson (Willy) of Columbus, Carmen Sims of Tavares, FL, Jessica Elliott (Seth) of Sidney and Stephanie Rife (Nick) of Woodville, OH. He is also survived by twenty-five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren.
