He was predeceased by: his parents, Rolo Cotterman and Margaret Cotterman (Small); his wife Sarah Cotterman (Wolaver); his daughter-in-law Bonnie Wenrick; and his siblings, Sherry Miller and Max Cotterman.
He is survived by: his children, Royal C. Cotterman, Jr. of Sidney, Judy Oldham (Robert) of Sidney, Michael Cotterman (Deborah) of Sumter, SC, Terry Cotterman (Mellisa) of Versailles and Denise McCune (John) of Ft. Loramie; his stepchildren, Linda Argabright of Sidney and Daniel Wenrick of Sidney; and his siblings, Jeff Cotterman (Cheryl) of Sidney, Janette Kaufman (Jim) of Sidney, Peggy Musser of Sidney and Sue Mahan of Sidney. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
