Richard Schmidt Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Schmidt of Sidney, Ohio, who passed away on November 13, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Schmidt and Norene Schmidt (Martin); and his wife Dorothy "Dort" (Eilerman). He is survived by: his children, Beverly Simon (Tom) of Sidney, Doug Schmidt of Sidney and John Schmidt (Amy) of Sidney; his sister Audrey Zimpfer; his sisters-in-law, Jeanette Eilerman of Sidney and Mary Lou Frantz of Sidney; his grandchildren, Amanda, Allyson, Taylor and Ryan; his great grandchildren, Alex, Payton, Kentleigh, Brantleigh, Avery and Brayden; his great great grandchild Harper; and his stepgranddaughter Sandy Tucker (Dave).

Memorials may be made to Holy Angels Grade School and Wilson Hospice.
