He is survived by: his parent Ruth Evans (Swob); his spouse Erma Jewel Frasure; and his children, Deborah Burkett (Tom) of Piqua, Scott Alan Evans (Sarah) of Piqua, Betty Jane Allen (Tim) of Piqua, Catherine Dulin (Rick) of Sidney and Richard Thomas Evans II (Gloria) of Versailles. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and twenty-four great-grandchildren.
