Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Rebecca (Becky) Gillman (Sidney, Ohio), who passed away at the age of 86, on March 22, 2025. She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Young and Arabelle Young (Nelson); her husband Walter (Wally); her son Jeff; and her grandson Nathan Sparks.
She is survived by: her children, Lisa Sparks (Mark Coverstone) and Kevin Gillman (Kathy); her grandchildren, Robert Sparks, Brittni Aikin (Derek), Kaitlin Knupp (Mack) and Kara Maurer (Kyle); and her great grandchildren, Haiden Kelly and Blair Maurer.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. (302 S Main Ave, Sidney, OH 45365). A memorial service was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Cedar Point Cemetery (17700 OH-706, Sidney, OH 45365).
The family strongly encourages that no flowers or gifts be sent. Becky's wishes were for donations be made to Shelby County CASA, PO Box 4187, Sidney, Ohio 45365 so they can continue to help the children of the community.
