He was predeceased by: his parents, Rayburn Howell and Bessie Howell (Wenger); his children, Danny Howell, Norman Howell and Judy Krebs; and his siblings, Andy Howell, Russell Howell, Rosie Webb and Ethel Kettler.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Liess; his children, Rita Blakeman (Terry) of Sidney and Ronald Howell (Sherry) of Sidney; his sisters, Ruth Weber of Sidney and Patsy Fogt of Sidney; and his daughter-in-law Sue Howell. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; thirty one great-grandchildren.
