He was predeceased by: his parents, Karl Young and Gladys Young (Woodruff); his son Darren Young; and his siblings, Phyllis Young, Patricia Maxwell and Richard Young.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Saintignon; his children, Debra Motsinger (Larry) of Sidney, Larry Young of Sidney, Tamara Herring (Don) of Sidney and Heidi Kleiber of Anna; and his grandchildren, Jody Clark, Misty Holthaus, Jackie Fishbaugh, Bryce Kleiber, Jordan Young, Ashley Kleiber, Seth Young, Daniel Herring, Christopher Herring and Amy Reffner. He is also survived by six great grandchildren.
