He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Jones and Sarah Jones (Abbott); his son Monte R. Jones; his son-in-law Ivan Michael Jr.; and his siblings, Anne Inman, Elva Stone, Nova Hawkey, Laura Jones, Dora Maxwell, Walter Jones, Romer Jones, Gilson Jones, Hoover Jones and Monroe Jones.
He is survived by: his wife Reba Honaker; his daughters, Norma Jean Jones of Sidney and Deborah Michael of Sidney; his grandchildren, Kevin Michael (Jennifer), Holly McCoy (Scott), Amber and Krista Jones; his great grandchildren, Kelby, Codi, Wyatt, Dalton, Lansen, MaKellyn, Kolesen, Aubrey and Stephanie; his great great grandchildren, Cruze and SaVaughn; and his sibling Evelyne Jones.
