He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Whitacre and Madge Whitacre (McDowell); and his brother Pat Whitacre. He is survived by: his wife Wanda (Saunders); his children, Milecha Whitacre of Sidney, Kayla Overbey of Port Jefferson, Kammy Doles of Russells Point and Jason Whitacre of Chillicothe; and his great grandchildren, Nakkia and Nevaeh Steed. He is also survived by seven grandchildren.
