He is survived by: his wife Lois Chappie (Stafford); his children, Nicki Burke (Michael Stenger), Matthew Simmons (Dora) of Belington, WV and Amanda Fisher (Dan) of Wapakoneta, OH; his siblings, Tim Chappie (Vicky), Ron Chappie (Joanne), Judy Campbell (Jack) of Lower Salem, OH, Steve Chappie (Linda) of Freeport, OH, Rick Chappie (Durenda) of Conover, OH, Phil Chappie (Kathy), Sally Grisez (Don) of Houston, OH, Jack Chappie of Marysville, OH and Juanita Ventura of Piqua, OH; and his grandchildren, Illah Uppenkamp, Vayda Uppenkamp, Brooklynn Fisher, Madison Fisher, Caitlynn Williams and Jascen Williams. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
