With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mary F. Chester of Sidney, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 1, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Shoffner and Nellie Shoffner (Baker); her brother Fred Shoffner; and also Roma Pruitt. She is survived by: her husband Eldon Chester; her sons, Mitch Haynes (Teresa) of Sidney, Steven Shoffstall (Dawn) of Wapakoneta and Scott Haynes (Karen) of Sidney; her sisters, Georgina Dressman and Becky Van Horn (David Krinkie) of Sidney; her niece Ann; her close friend David; and her grandchild Yahtzee. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
