Margaret Helmlinger Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Margaret Helmlinger of Sidney, Ohio, who passed away on March 1, 2025 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard A. Thaman and Mary Ellen Thaman (Halpin); and her siblings, Mary Raterman, Kate Thaman, Helen Myers, Dick Thaman, Louis Thaman, Ed Thaman, Eleanor Kinsella and Joe Thaman.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jo Ellen Helmlinger (Dave Pickut), Meg Helmlinger-Reis (Jim) and Kris Mitchem (Jim); and her sister-in-law Judy Thaman. She is also survived by two granddaughters; two step-grandsons; one great-granddaughter, two step-great granddaughters; one great step-grandson.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 17th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Salm - McGill & Tangeman Funeral Home - Sidney (502 S Ohio Ave, Sidney, OH 45365). A Mass will be held on Monday, March 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Angels Catholic Church (324 S Ohio Ave, Sidney, OH 45365).
