It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lonnie Wayne Sowders of Sidney, Ohio, born in Hillsboro, Tennessee, who passed away on January 8, 2022, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Sowders and Darelene Sowders (Jones); his children, Joshua Sowders and Jennifer Rainey; and his siblings, Jerry Sowders, Isaac Sowders and Geraldine Sowders.
He is survived by: his spouse Silva Wolaver; his children, Deloris Sowders, Lonnie Lee Sowders (Kelly), Joyce Alexander and Vandora Wellbaum; and his siblings, Sue, Charlotte, Patsy, Paulette and Dee. He is also survived by eighteen grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
