He was predeceased by: his parents, Voil Haas and Dorothy Haas (Grime); his wife Charlene Bostater; and his children, Martin Haas and Catherine Marsh.
He is survived by: his daughter Jane Hymes of Sidney; and his sister Bonnie Phillips (Carol Pearson) of Franklin, NC. He is also survived by four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
