He is survived by: his mother Mary Basil Kimbro (Thorpe) of Sidney; his children, McKal Basil of Sidney, Isaac Basil of Sidney and Ava Basil of Sidney; and his brothers, Keith Basil (Nancy) of Piqua, Shelby Basil of Piqua and Chris Basil of Piqua.
