He is survived by: his children, Teresa Holthaus of Sidney and Gene Schloss of Port Jefferson; his sister Minnie Young (Alvin) of Jackson Center; and his grandchildren, Darrin Wilson (Ann), Amanda Smith (Bill), Corey Holthaus (Danielle) and Rodney Schloss.
