He was predeceased by: his mother Mabel Gibson; his son Eddie Gibson; and his brother JB Gibson. He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Gibson (Johnson); and his children, Rick Gibson (Dee) of Sidney, Roger Gibson of Sidney, Gina Barnett of Corbin, KY., Tina Gibson of Corbin, KY., Misty Johnson of Sidney and Viva Johnson (Charles White) of Sidney. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren.
