He was predeceased by: his brother Brett Metz; and his grandparents, John, Sherril Kaeck, Tom and Sue Herring.
He is survived by: his spouse Jammie Kaeck (Wilson); his son Abel Kaeck of Sidney; his siblings, Kara Muehlfeld (Kyle) of Sidney, Joey Kaeck of DeGraff, Deidra Parker (Chris) of DeGraff and Megan Kaeck of DeGraff; his grandparents, Clarence and Ruth Metz Jr. of Botkins; his parents-in-law, Rachelle, Greg McClellan of Houston, Kasha, Zach Payne of Houston, Jaiden Stone of Houston, Kayla, Kyler and Jacob Huber of Houston; and his nieces and nephews, Kane and Kinleigh Muehlfeld of Sidney.
