He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond McElfresh and Ruth McElfresh (Glaze); his brother Harold McElfresh; his daughter Lisa Ruark; and his pet Raja Belle.
He is survived by: his wife Susan J McElfresh (Andrew) of Sidney; and his daughter Tracy DeLoye (Chris) of Fort Loramie. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.
