She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Hensley and Ruby Mae Hensley (Turner); her husband Rev. Clarence Cox; her brothers, Clifford Hensley and Roger Hensley; her brothers-in-law, Doug Cecil and Clyde Epling; and her stepgrandson Matthew.
She is survived by: her children, Wendell Cox, Tammy Miller, Alvin Cox (Dawn), Faith Titus (Steven), Dale Cox, Chris Cox (Susie) and Matt Cox; her grandchildren, Nelson Miller, Chad Miller (Tina), Heidi Slater (Mitch), Jason Cox (Lisa), Ashley Cantrell, Jordan Wade, Tiffany Vanhoose (Matt), Dustin Cox, Jonathan Cox (Morgen), Christopher Cox (Meagan), Courtney Cox, Collin Cox and Caleb Cox (Brooke); her stepgrandsons, Mike Haynes (Kayla) and Mark Haynes (Amanda); her sisters, Wanda Jean Cecil, Crystal Francis (Don) and Phyllis Epling; and her sisters-in-law, Marcella Hensley and Ruby Hensley. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
