She was predeceased by: her parents, John Schmidt and Clementine Schmidt (Boeke); her former husband Wilferd "Bill" Magoteaux; and her husband Wilfred "Will" Hoying. She is survived by: her children, David Magoteaux, Steven Magoteaux and Kathleen Locker (Aaron); her grandchildren, Alex Locker, Megan Kaufman (Grant), Emma Locker, Nicholas Magoteaux, Michele Gibbs (Gage) and Rickey Magoteaux; her brother Gerald Schmidt (Linda); her siblings-in-law, Joyce Schmidt, Henrietta Hoying, Denny and Marilyn Ross; her siblings, Kenneth Schmidt and Karen; and her siblings-in-law, Ralph Balster, Harold, Delores Bensman, Bernald, Rita Hoying and Wilbur Hoying.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Ohio Hospice of Miami County in Janet's memory.
