He was predeceased by: his parents, James McRoy and Bernice McRoy. He is survived by: his wife Paula McRoy (Staley); his children, Jason (Lynnetta), Paula Durner (Michael), Jon Goffena (Julie), Matt Goffena (Julie), Melissa Jock (Dan), Monica Jacobs (Michael "Jake"), Gordy Price (Jamie) and Christopher McRoy (Ilka); and his sister Leslie O'Conner (Michael). He is also survived by 23 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 9:15 AM to 10:15 AM at the Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. (302 S Main Ave, Sidney, OH 45365). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Holy Angels Catholic Church (324 S Ohio Ave, Sidney, OH 45365).
