He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Jones and Iris Jones (Hopkins); his wives, Rhonola Hensley, Ginny Ann Helman and Magdalene Wooley; his daughter Maria Floyd; his brothers, Joe Jones and Robert Jones; and his son-in-law Dave Floyd.
He is survived by: his children, Aaron T. Jones (Kim), Rebecca Ellinger (Kelvin) of Heath, Tonya Hollis of Covington, Tami Darrell (Whalen) of Atkinson, IL and Kelly Barker (Brenda) of Bradford; and his siblings, Rosalie Lunsford, Eileen Ricucci, Marsha Cost (Dick), Sue Doyle, Helen Dhein, Irma Russell and Mike Jones (Janet). He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; many great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial contributions may be made to Sidney Christian Academy in James memory.
