He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard DeMars and Alberta DeMars (Burgess); and his former wife Ruth DeMars (Wendell). He is survived by: his wife Debra Mae McPheron; his daughters, Monica DeMars of Sidney and Vicky Johnson of Sidney; his stepchildren, Teresa, Ted and James; and his siblings, Joe DeMars (Karen) of Michigan and Nancy DeMars of Michigan. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren.
