He was predeceased by: his parents, Emerson Deam and Helen Deam (Edwards); his daughters, Kathie Jo and Kellie Jo; his sister Jane Billing; his sister-in-law Mary Deam; and his nephew Tommy Deam.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Brelsford; his children, Jana Potts (Tom) of Sidney and Jason Deam (Virginia) of Newark; his grandchildren, Ethan, Brennan and Colin Potts; his brother William Deam (Doris) of Sidney; his nephews, Mark Deam (Joyce) and John Deam; and his niece Marcia Shaffer (Dan).
Memorials contributions may be made to Hospice of Miami County or Sidney First United Methodist Church in Jim's honor.
