It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Edward Benkert of Sidney, Ohio, born in Piqua, Ohio, who passed away on July 6, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Louis Pete. He is survived by: his children, Barbara Furdero (Mark) of Piqua and John Benkert (Sue) of Ft. Myers, FL; his siblings, Donald Benkert and Martha Yount; his grandchildren, Andrew Benkert, Traci Miller and Matt Drapp; and his great grandchildren, Frankie Drapp and Georgia Drapp.
